Because I cover a wide geographic area, I can share my knowledge about a great variety of communities and neighborhoods that may be of interest.
We are fortunate that our MLS contains hundreds of search variables. In putting together custom searches, my general approach is to design searches that bring up 10-40 homes that seem to best match the interests of my clients, and to organize these geographically so my out-of-area clients can get a sense of values and options in different areas.
Key variables to consider:
- Location
- Minimum bedrooms/square footage
- Levels
- Lot size
- Minimum garage
- Pool or no pool
- Views
- Price
- Timing
- Interest in foreclosure, short sales (or not)
- Other important likes and dislikes (open floor plan, high ceilings, gas cooking)
- And whatever else is important to you
